Pricing

Naturally, one of the most frequently asked questions we get is: How much? Since the needs of every business vary the short answer is that pricing fluctuates within a wide range.

We have built sites for as little as $500. But we also have clients with ecommerce sites that have spent tens of thousands of dollars, not just on their sites, but on related services as well. Many sites fall in the $3000 - $5000 range.

Normally we charge for all our services on an hourly basis. You pick and choose the services you want us to perform and we bill you for our time. For this reason, a discussion of your needs and budget must precede any sort of accurate cost estimate.

You may have a strict budget within which you must work. This is not a problem. We can always agree ahead of time what services will be performed and for what price. However, most of our clients prefer an open ended pay-as-you-go approach as it obviates the need for detailed contracts.

If a cost estimate is performed and agreed to, Net The Big One requires 50% of the estimate up front with the balance to be paid at a pre-negotiated time. Normally this would be when the project is complete. However, the nature of our business is such that many "projects" are open ended and while they will have a definitive starting point, they may not have a definitive finishing point. In such cases, balances will become due at a predetermined point in time, for example, when the site goes live.

Projects requiring more than 2 months of development time will be charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.
